Hello to the list.
On my Smartphone Nokai N900 I use SyncEvolution 1.3 to sync my calenders
and addressbook.
But it does not work!
Everytime I enter
$ syncevolution --sync slw heimnetz_kal_berr
I get the following output

It is a bit strange that the sync mode is listed as
"one-way-from-remote" here. It should be "slow" if that's what you
asked
for.

Question back: what data should be transferred? Does the
cal.php/calendars/juergen/berrreisen/ really contain any events?
You can test this with
syncevolution --print-items @heimnetz_kal_berr calendar
If that should list items and doesn't, then the output of
"SYNCEVOLUTION_DEBUG=1 syncevolution --daemon=no loglevel=4
--print-items @heimnetz_kal_berr calendar" would be useful.
Which CalDAV server is this?

If that should list items and doesn't, then the output of
"SYNCEVOLUTION_DEBUG=1 syncevolution --daemon=no loglevel=4
--print-items @heimnetz_kal_berr calendar" would be useful.
Oh my god. I found the error which isn't displayed in any log file.
The author of that CalDAV server made a great mistake: he didn't check
whether an array element contains information or not.
Which CalDAV server is this?
It is Baikal http://http://baikal-server.com/
It is based on SabreDAV. But it doesn't work because I don't get any
authorisation. It always tells me that the username isn't correct but it is.
So I will search for an other CalDAV or buy a new smartphone with a
working CalDAV client.

When you say "working CalDAV client", do you mean one which works around
the server bug? If that's possible, not breaking other servers and not
introducing egregious special cases, then I don't mind adapting
SyncEvolution. But for that I need to know more about this server bug.

Hello Patrick,
forget Baikal.
This piece of "software" is so buggy.
One example: there is an SQL statement "SELECT * FROM users HERE id=''"
the field id has type integer. Here is an comparison between integer an
string.
And there are many bugs where the author hopes that every client
fullfills the standarts for 100 percent.
Meanwhile I found out that Baikal works with SyncEvolution when
1) the default calendar is addressed
2) the default calendar belongs to the first created user
And therefore I will stop the whole thing.
