I tried starting Akonadi, but it did not apear to help, producing this
line, but no usable output:

Do you really want to use Akonadi, or do you only want to get rid of the
ERROR messages above?
If you are not interested in Akonadi, you can just ignore them. If you
are, then check your KDE setup.
