Actually ignore that last bit.... it seems I've been looking at

many build system logs today and I'm going slightly crazy as a result!
I know exactly what you mean - getting two branches to work on a variety
of platforms required a lot of compile runs. And we still didn't catch
all the build problems, as you found with --enable-gui=all.
Please apply Jussi's patch as part of your package. It will be in the
next release, but I'd prefer to not put out new sources immediately.
