I have now managed to confuse myself about where we are with this! I
did (on 11th Nov) submit a patch (attachment 109306 in bug #85239) to
correct the logging memory leak. I had tested the patch, including
forcing the log message.
Have you merged that patch? I must admit I am confused about which
branch I should be looking at to see if you have merged the patch (it
does not seem to be in master).
If you have, I think bug 85239 can now be closed.
Let me know if you are still waiting for something from me.
