Hi Patrick,

the syncfile.so was not copied.

Now i am faced with another issue:
when running syncevolution, getting error:

Exception Unsupported transport type:SyncContext.cpp:1571

Basically, it is unable to fetch the SyncURL from config.ini.
I have verified that the file has permissions, tested the config.ini on another machine, works there.
But here it just doesnt read the server URL.

Please guide.

Regards
Sachin

How was SyncEvolution compiled and/or installed? Looks like the file
backend is not installed.

Check "syncevolution --version" and in particular the list of loaded
backends. If you enabled a shared build, there should be a syncfile.so.
