I isntalled a Windows 7 in my XenGT, I have some experience because I did
the same in Xen, but my problem comes with the Ethernet ports. I'm using a
i7 4700EQ (4th generation), inside is an Intel HD 4600 and 16GB RAM.
After the installation of the Windows, everything is good, but at the
attachment time, I hide the pci devices in grub, I attach them in the .hvm
from Windows, install the drivers... Everything normal. The ethernet ports
are 3 different: I218, I210 and X540-AT2. I can enter in the device manager
to their propierties, can turn on the LED (so the driver recogniyes well
which one is each one) but only the I218 works, recognizes the cable and
can send pings and has internet connection. The other 2 didn't recognize
the cable, there is no way.
But I installed Xen in another HDD of the same computer. I entered in the
same VM that XenGT uses and... The Ethernet ports were working, all of them
without any problem.
The .hvm files are the same, and the Xen version was 4.7.0, meanwhile XenGT
Any help is really welcome.
