Subject: [iGVT-g] DMA_BUF Libvirt Experimental Test Issue
I have been attempting the various experimental features listed on the
DMA_BUF wiki page.
I have succeeded in getting local GTK support, as well as Spice support from
the command line.
However when I use the Libvirt configuration, I'm greeted with the following
'.max_outputs' not found
This is related to the fact that the extra command lines:
set the video0 driver to the ne2k network card driver, which naturally doesn't
understand a video output command.
If these two lines are deleted, the system initializes, but the virtio-vga
devices shows up as a separate device and the spice server only attaches to
It does work if you delete the Video and Graphics options, and just pass the
spice information directly to qemu, but this disables the internal spice display
Am I being silly and missing something, was this an oversight of the libvirt
setup, or is just a function that isn't correctly implemented?
I am using the gvt-stable-4.14 kernel, and the gvt-stable-2.10.0 Qemu build.
