This is similar to all "stats" counters.
The first number is the number of times (samples) the OST has handled a read or write,
second number is the minimum read/write size, third is maximum read/write size, fourth is
the sum of all the read/write requests.
You can work out the average request size by avg = sum / samples.

I am building some monitoring scripts of our lustre setup and I am having trouble
wrapping my head around:

What do each of the each of the numbers mean?
